同郡内 Rock Lake [ブログ投稿者注: マップ確認中] の約 1000羽の鳥のうち、
[野性の]渡り鳥 Baikal teal [ * = Spectacled Teal, Anas formosa マガモ属トモエガモ] 74羽の死骸がみつかった。20羽から検体採取し、HPAI 高病原性鳥インフルエンザ H5N1ウイルス陽性。
Investigation teams are visiting the 43 poultry farms subject to clinical testing restrictions, which will be removed after 30 days.

[*] actually Baikal teal (Anas formosa), and not spectacled eider (Somateria fischeri). The error appears to have arisen through an inexact translation. South Korea is a vitally important wintering ground for Baikal teal, … (Somateria fischeri, Spectacled eider [ケワタガモ属] メガネケワタガモ との記事は誤訳である)
