エジプト保健省発表
40歳男性 ([エジプト北部] Dakahlia province ダカリーヤ県)。鳥インフルエンザ感染症の転帰 死亡 (2011年の第 1例目の死亡例)。
同国では、2006年から累積患者数 119人、このうち死亡 40人(本症例を含む)。

The same information was received from ProMED-mail correspondent Mary Marshall, together with an additional comment from Michael Coston that: "Details, such as the date of onset, length of illness, or route of infection are awaited. This is the 6th human H5N1 infection reported by Egyptian Officials in the past 3 weeks."
