猛禽類で渡り鳥の ノスリ[鵟] Common buzzard 1羽のH5N1ウイルス感染源について、アフリカ、たとえばエジプトで感染した病気のニワトリを食べ、潜伏期間中に移動し、ブルガリアに着いてから死んだのではないか。

Since there are no reports of H5N1 in poultry in Bulgaria (which I realise does not necessarily mean it is not there), and the buzzard had presumably just got back home from its winter range in Africa, it could well have eaten a sick chicken in, say, Egypt, spent the incubation period migrating north, got sick, and died on arrival in Bulgaria. ...

Subject PRO/AH/EDR> Avian influenza (21): Bulgaria, wild bird, susp. RFI
ブルガリア [北東部 黒海沿岸のヴァルナ州の州都] Varna市の聖コンスタンティン・エレナ Konstantin and Elena で死んだ野鳥 ノスリ[鵟] Common buzzard 1羽が発見され、鳥インフルエンザ H5N1 陽性であった(確認検査の結果待ち ※)。

ブルガリア [北東部 黒海沿岸のヴァルナ州の州都] Varna市の鳥の中で、死んだ野鳥 ノスリ[鵟] Common buzzard 1羽が 鳥インフルエンザ H5N1 陽性であった。聖コンスタンティン・エレナ Konstantin and Elena で発見された。次週の初めに確認検査の結果がわかる。

[St. St.] Konstantin and Elena はルーマニア国境の南 70Km, ドナウ・デルタの南 約 250Kmの所である。2010年3月上旬、ルーマニア ドナウ・デルタDanube Delta の Tulca トゥルチャ (Tulcea)県で高病原性鳥インフルエンザ HPAI H5N1の発生 2件が報告されている。]
